Description
The book surveys the (numerous) results on various types of graphs that are extremal with regard to the Randic index
and/or its generalized versions. These results are twofold: (a) upper and lower bounds for the Randic index and its generalized
versions, and (b) characterization of graphs,belonging to a specified class, that have minimum or
maximum value for the Randic index or its generalized versions. The book embraces practically all results on
the above specified topics, obtained until year 2005.
